Arisen Women Foundation is a Non-profit organization based in Mitchell's Plain (a previously disadvantaged community in the Cape Flats) in Cape Town.
Arisen Women Foundation was founded by Chantal Scoble and Sheila Scoble in January 2001. Arisen Women Foundation was registered as a Non-Profit Organisation on 28 February 2002. Our main objective is community upliftment and development through community-based care, education, employment, primary health care services and psychosocial support.
We assist women from all walks of life to better their lives for their families and their community. We aim to empower women to be the ambassadors of the community in which they live in.

What We Do
Community Oriented Primary Care and Social Support
We respond to the needs of the bedridden, terminally ill and sick people that are unable to care for themselves.
Home-based Care Training
Training in community home based care. The training course is completed over two months and covers theory and practical.
Chronic Disease and Lifestyle Wellness Program
On average about 1900 parcels are handed out by the chronic dispense unit. This unit helps patients with blood pressure and much more.
Youth Lifestyle and Modification Program
Our aim is to help girls and boys become literate through having fun while learning about HIV and TB. This is a 12 week programme.
Care for the Carer
We believe we have to care for our staff, as the work that they do can become too stressful and they can become drained.
